{"id":1030,"date":"2015-05-10T10:19:50","date_gmt":"2015-05-10T15:19:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.apluscompsci.com\/blog\/?p=1030"},"modified":"2016-05-06T02:03:18","modified_gmt":"2016-05-06T07:03:18","slug":"2015-ap-computer-science-free-response-question-solutions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.apluscompsci.com\/blog\/2015-ap-computer-science-free-response-question-solutions\/","title":{"rendered":"2015 AP Computer Science Free Response Question Solutions"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"primary\" class=\"site-content\">\n<div id=\"content\">\n<article id=\"post-958\" class=\"post-958 post type-post status-publish format-standard hentry category-uncategorized tag-ap-computer-science tag-java tag-oop tag-workshops\">\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<p>Well, my predictions for the 2015 AP CS A Free Response were close this year as usual.<\/p>\n<p>There was a matrix question again this year.\u00a0 It was pretty simple and was not a matrix of references this year.\u00a0 This question had part a, b, and c with b and calling a and c calling b.<\/p>\n<p>There were 2 class creation questions\u00a0 again this year. \u00a0 I guess you can say that is a trend.<br \/>\nOne was a string question just involving simple class creation.\u00a0 The other was writing and implementing an interface.<\/p>\n<p>There was an ArrayList of classes again.\u00a0 The sparse array was a cool way of creating a matrix.\u00a0 It seemed much like an old AB question as we used maps to to make grids back in the day.<\/p>\n<p>Check out my <a href=\"http:\/\/www.apluscompsci.com\/material.htm\">A+ curriculum materials<\/a> if you need awesome support for lists, arrays, matrices, interfaces, and all of the rest.<\/p>\n<p>I have posted slides with my solutions and a java student project that has shells and no solutions.\u00a0 This project will allow students to punch in their code and see if works.<br \/>\n<a title=\"AP CS A Free Response Solutions\" href=\"http:\/\/www.apluscompsci.com\/ap_computer_science_free_response.html\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/www.apluscompsci.com\/ap_computer_science_free_response.html<\/a><\/p>\n<p>There are review slides for the AP Computer Science A exam for years 2006, 2008, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015.\u00a0 There are student java projects in place now for many of the AP Computer Science Free Response sections.<\/p>\n<p>Have a great summer and check out my workshop offerings if you are free this summer.\u00a0 My workshop is full in Houston with a ton on the waiting list, but you never know if some spots may open up.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.apluscompsci.com\/workshops.htm\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/www.apluscompsci.com\/workshops.htm<\/a><\/p>\n<p>I also do local workshops for schools and school districts.\u00a0 If you need specialized local training, email me and we can discuss specifics.\u00a0 My system works great and gets students ready to ROCK the ap exam!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Well, my predictions for the 2015 AP CS A Free Response were close this year as usual.
