How are the UIL topics covered?
Every attempt is made to cover as many of the UIL topics as possible and to do so in a manner that fits with the rest of the curriculum. When UIL topics are discussed, most are covered through slide shows, java example files, quizzes, and worksheets, but there are some topics that are only covered in lab form.
All multiple choice tests are formatted to look like actual UIL tests. Each test will contain AP style questions, UIL style questions, and very general questions. The difficulty level of the questions will vary greatly.
There are many lab assignments that demonstrate how to solve the most common UIL programming concepts as these seem to show up in UIL programming packets quite frequently. Every attempt is made to cover each of these concepts at least once. Most of the UIL topics are covered in lab form, but some are also explained and covered with slides.
